ERRATA: Corrections in red
The Federal Territory Minister, Zulhasnan Rafique, had recently gone on a “working trip” with a group of people.
What was interesting about this ‘trip’ were the people involved and a ‘detour’ taken by the FT minister and his family, with their maid in tow. The question that naturally arises is: Who is paying for all this?
Should the administration be condoning such high expenses at belt-tightening times like now? What is the rakyat going to make of these high expenses for business and first-class seats as well as expensive accommodations to boot? Why were family members involved?
All said, I sincerely hope some of the people involved had paid for their family members’ “working trip” out of their own pockets and had not allowed them to trundle along “to work overseas” at the rakyat’s expense.
Shown below is a partial list of the total of 21 people, whom I have highlighted in Parliament today by way of clarification from Ahli Berhormat from Kubang Kerian, whether he was aware of the working trip by Zulhasnan and his group.
I have said that the government asked the rakyat to save and yet at the same time ministers were wasting public fund. This shows the government “cakap tak serupa bikin!”
